MOUNTAIN VIEW ANGUS FARM

Mountain View Angus Farm, located outside of Bristol, Virginia, is a family-owned farm in its third generation dedicated to producing high quality registered black angus cattle through genomics. The farm is owned by Dr. Eddie French and his wife Amy. Eddie is the third generation living on the farm that his grandfather started around 1931. He grew up raising cattle his entire life, and Amy has enjoyed being a part of the operation for 30 plus years. MVAF has transitioned over those many years from dairy and commercial beef cattle to our registered angus herd today. At Mountain View Angus Farm, we are focused on maintaining a strong foundation of angus genetics through Artificial Insemination (AI) and Embryo Transfer (ET) as well as our natural service sires. We are steadfast and committed to achieving excellence in every aspect of our farm and its operation. Our goal is to produce herd sires and replacement females that add significant value to any purebred or commercial cattle operation. As a small producer of high quality seedstock registered Angus cattle, we are extremely selective with EPD and phenotype management emphasizing growth, carcass merit, and maternal traits. Another top priority at Mountain View Angus Farm is to raise very docile cattle that are very easy to work and manage. On this website you will find more information about our foundation females, sire selections, and private treaty offerings along with our contact information. We are passionate about what we do and would love for you to stop by anytime to see our operation.
